Why Deku

Deku is the only Hero Anime coin aside from Saitama.

The founders of this project are huge anime fans with ties to professional artists in the anime/manga industry. We were inspired by Hero Academia and their storyline along with the amazing cast of characters.

Our Launch

Deku launched differently than most coins, we didn’t overhype it. In fact it took us an entire month to launch the coin by organically growing our user base to about 150 people in our Telegram group. Community is super important to us and we felt that growing word of mouth in the beginning would create a stronger bond with the community as a whole.

Tokenomics

We think about everything we do, Tokenomics were important to us.

Deku has a supply of 1Q but we burned about half the supply and there is about 500T remaining in circulation. For coins with strong communities its generally exciting to have a large supply and watch zeros come off as the project grows. In terms or our tax:

• 3% Rewards
• 2% LP
• 3% Marketing

Marketing

Reward for users who hold are common in many coins now a days. However the LP and the Marketing tax are crucial. When LP is low sells create a huge hit to the project. Deku is very young (less than a month) but our LP is closing in on a million. The marketing fund has allowed us to do things most young coins can’t dream of. We’ve run campaign every single day since the project started including give aways, video reviews (including David Pakman), twitter campaigns, and exchange listings. We listed our first exchange last week and we’re in the process of closing two more this week. Marketing at Deku is a full time job and happens 7 days a week.

Upcoming Features

We love artwork so NFTs fit in perfectly with our vision. Our founders are experts with NFTs and have connections with the anime industry. Our first release will be our Buru-Chan NFT drawn by the lead art animator of Evangelion & Mobile Suit Gundam! We’re giving this one away to our top 50 diamond handed holders! This is just our first NFT, we plan on rewarding other tiers of Deku holders (top 100, 200, 500, etc)

The game we are working on will be web based game with utilities baked into the game for the Deku NFTs you acquire. The game is in active development right now and will be release in phase 3 of our roadmap

A partnership for the ages

One of the more exciting events we’re working on is a partnership with some of our friends from other great projects. We’ve had strong support from the devs and marketing team of Luffy, Goku and Chopper. We’ve been fans of those projects for quite some time and we’re working on something more formal… That’s all I can say for now but Izuku has been working hard behind the scenes on this one specifically. It’s a passion project for him.

Why We chose FEGex

Speaking of partnerships choosing FEGex was an easy decision for us. Our community is not about creating competition with other projects its about creating friends. We already had some folks in the Deku community that were huge fans of FEG (including Izuku) so when people in our community starting asking about FEGex we pursued it immediately. To us its more about just getting listed on FEGex, its about expanding both communities and learning from a massively successful project. Too many coins don’t spend time building their communities or creating a long term vision, FEG however has done exactly that. There’s so much we can learn from you guys. The team we’ve been working with has been super warm and extremely helpful. Personally this partnership means a lot to us.

What’s next for Deku?

Obviously as the head or marketing I have a lot of things in store. We’re going to test ads on Dextools and some outside the box places like MyAnimeList and CrunchyRoll. But in terms our our Roadmap we have some really exciting things planned. We’re working with an RGA (Random Generate Art) NFT project to team up with Deku and provide presale access to our users. This project like Deku NFTs will be drawn by professional studios artists. Deku holders over a certain amount will automatically qualify. On a side note: We’re planning on launching a RGA project with custom heroes that will be tied to our web-based game.

Deku is also working with another one of our partners to sell our professionally drawn NFTs in their NFT marketplace. We’re really excited about this and plan on doing some collaborations.

Wrap up!

Finally, one thing that makes the team a bit different than some other projects is how much they care about this space. Having deep ties into the anime community also means seeing the dark side of it too. What most people don’t know is that these amazing artists are often paid low wages and barely scratch a living. Our vision is to create a project and community that is so strong that we can fully employ an army of anime artists and pay them many times more than they could make in their industry. We are true fans of art and want to reward our the artist who we consider our heroes. These artists bring so much joy and happiness into the world, we want to make sure they are rewarded for the gift they give so many others.
